Welcome to Learning Libraries 3.0!

the official wiki of the Maryland Learning Libraries project, 2007-08

Our goal:  Teams from Maryland library organizations develop a shared understanding of Principles of Learning Libraries and use them to plan, implement and evaluate a project that results in positive change within their respective library systems. Participants will continue to use the tools learned to create positive change.

Our year of Learning Libraries projects drew to a close in November, 2008.  Teams from across the state met to share the stories about their projects.  The Allegany team developed this PhotoStory to share reports from all sixteen teams.

I just wanted to introduce myself to the learning libraries group. I'm taking over Atif Gaddis' position at the Wicomico County public library. I'm also a graduate student in library science at the University of Pittsburgh.
I'm very excited to be a part of this group!
